1. Public Religious Education and Services
The Program was established in 2007 as the first and only undergraduate degree program of its kind, and it trains professionals in the field of public religious education and services. The Program has a special interest in educating well-qualified professionals who will work for the Presidency of Religious Affairs in a wide variety of religious services. To this end, it offers specific courses on theories, models, and techniques in teaching religion for practical religious services. The Program offers courses on both classical and modern topics, and addresses issues from an interdisciplinary perspective. Graduates are expected to be knowledgeable in both traditional scholarship and modern studies in the field.
